“Is the fear of more pain, stopping you from experiencing the sweetness of life? We are all damaged goods. We can either wallow in being a victim of life, or we can rise up and celebrate being a survivor. Life has left its fingerprint on each one of us. It is through our cracks that light enters and eventually brightens our hearts, which in turn reflects our light to others. We have all been hurt and we have all hurt others. We have all felt the euphoric passion of love and experienced the dark despair of having our heart broken. While these experiences can make us weak and bitter, the practice of yoga teaches us to use these experiences as tools the strengthen us, lessons that act like fire on metal, forging us stronger, creating wisdom, that when once learned, cannot be unlearned or taken away.
