WEDDING CEREMONY – DIANELA & BETO
Wedding Ceremony – Dianela & Beto
David will walk the wedding path until you reach the “altar”.
You will have a wireless mic (hopefully, if Amazon prime does its job right).
Good afternoon,
We are gathered here today to celebrate the love and union of Dianela and Beto. A real-life love story that began on a day like today.
“Never go in search of love, go in search of life and life will find you the love you seek. You don’t find love, it finds you…”
It all started 2 years ago when Dianela literally bumped into Beto. Well, actually into his car. Little that they knew, the Universe had put them on the same path. Two souls found each other to become one with the power of love. They have gathered each of you here to be a part of this ceremony as they make a lifelong commitment to each other.
Excerpt from The Alchemist
Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy, has a dream about finding a treasure near the Pyramids of Egypt. At an oasis, Santiago is enchanted by a beautiful young woman named Fatima and realizes that love is the transforming power of the world.
At that moment, it seemed to him that time stood still, and the Soul of the World surged within him. When he looked into her dark eyes, and saw that her lips were poised between a laugh and silence, he learned the most important part of the language that all the world spoke— the language that everyone on earth was capable of understanding in their heart. It was love.
Something older than humanity, more ancient than the desert. What the boy felt at that moment was that he was in the presence of the only woman in his life, and that, with no need for words, she recognized the same thing. Because when you know the language, it’s easy to understand that someone in the world awaits you, whether it’s in the middle of the desert or in some great city. And when two such people encounter each other, the past and the future become unimportant. There is only that moment, and the incredible certainty that everything under the sun has been written by one hand only. It is the hand that evokes love, and creates a twin soul for every person in the world. Without such love, one’s dreams would have no meaning.
Dianela and Beto, today you are making a lasting commitment to share the rest of your lives with each other. That commitment is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand; one that represents Dianela (who now pours in some of her sand) and the other that represents Beto, (who pours some of his sand on top).
Each of you comes to this relationship with unique strengths, vulnerabilities, and histories. As individuals, you are beautiful people all on your own. Yet when the two of you are blended together, you form something even more beautiful. Those strengths can blossom, those vulnerabilities can be cared for, and those people can soar.
Now the groom will say his vows to the bride. (Beto says his vows and gives the ring to Dianela).
Now Dianela will say her vows (Dianela says her vows and gives the ring to Beto).
(This doesn’t have to be exactly like this, you’re the master here lol…)
Love is everywhere, it’s the force that keeps the world together. It brings friends, family, spouses, strangers and even animals together. Today, we want to celebrate love together with all of you, and what better way to do it than by feeling love.
Starts meditation:
Now, close your eyes.
Take a deep breath. Feel the air, the trees, the air…. Etc.
Now try to remember a special moment when you felt love….
Let’s take a moment to open your heart to love, and smile. Let’s smile to the Universe and to these two soul mates that have found each other and are willing to walk together towards love.
“Love me when I least deserve it because that is when I really need it.
When you love someone, you meet them where they are and not where you want them to be.”
“We will be known forever by the tracks we leave.” – Native American Dakota
“Talk and spend time with people that make you see the world differently.”
Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. – Rumi
Instead of asking yourself, how do I make someone love me and say how do I let someone love me.
Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. Lao Tz

As the two containers of sand are poured into the vase, (both participants simultaneously pour their remaining sand in the central vase) the separate colors of sand now blend into a new color. You have now blended your families into a new family, as you start your journey in marriage, loving and strong as husband and wife, as inseparable as these grains of sand.

You may kiss the bride.
